Although I'm not yet entirely happy with my solitary kangaroo, I am nonetheless very pleased with how this kangaroo and joey turned out.

It uses the same base pattern as the other kangaroo, but with additional paper. This is possible because the first kangaroo was made from half a square, cut diagonally. By using a full square instead, and folding it in half, I had enough slack to make the joey protruding from her pouch.
