This hummingbird is probably my simplest shape. It is nonetheless one of my favourites. There is something very rewarding about being able to create something so pretty with a relatively simple pattern. As a bonus, the pattern printed on the paper complements the bird quite nicely - although I did learn later that the colours are actually wrong (a tribute to my lack of knowledge in ornithology).
